Instructor Sandy Gebhard, experienced in the instruction of the Sun Style Forms, welcomes students to join her in the long-lived Chinese practice of T’ai Chi. Sandy will guide movements to promote relaxation, balance and strength. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable fitting shoes. How Invasive Species Reshape Our Ecosystems

Take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and better understand the craze for native plants. Nathan Pugh, Director of Ecology at Heartland Restoration Services, will cover the widespread impact of invasive species and what we can do to combat them. He will also break down the key differences between invasive, noxious and native species, revealing why some plants wreak havoc while others support ecosystems. You will learn practical, effective management strategies to control and remove invasive species from properties, as well as beautiful, native alternatives to replace them in landscapes. Included with $1 admission on this Thursday $1 Night when parking is also validated for free in the Civic Center Parking Garage.
