Color in Motion: Live Butterfly Exhibit!

Tuesday, April 15 – June 22, public hours

Live butterflies have landed at the Botanical Conservatory bringing with them an array of natural beauty and wonder. Watch in awe, their wings in flight, as they flash with color pigments and refracted light. Observe exotic butterflies emerging from their chrysalides right before your eyes! An epic display of multicolored flowers and foliage elevates this annual spring exhibit. The Great Train Connection

Friday to Sunday, March 14 – 16, public hours

All aboard the Botanical Conservatory’s Great Train Connection! As part of this special event, journey through the profuse railroad history of Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana, maneuver trains via timesaver switching puzzles and imagine yourself as the conductor of various model train sets ranging from tiny N scale up to G scale. It’s a “freight time” for the whole family—especially the littlest engines. General admission fees apply. Sponsored by: US 93.3.

February 2, 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.,

Cultivate a passion for Orchids when blooming varieties are beautifully on display by local society members who are ready to answer all your growing questions. You also will not want to miss one of two live potting demonstrations! Plants and potting materials are available for purchase.
