Friday, October 6, 4:00 – 9:00p.m.
Meet your friends downtown at the Botanical Conservatory for a sampling of all things brewed. Your taste buds are sure to relish local favorites as you sample coffee, tea, cider, craft beer, and wine. Wander the gardens and enjoy featured food truck fare and entertainers busking throughout. Packaged beverages will also be available for purchase. No outside food or beverage is permitted. Sponsored by: 89.1 WBO1, WANE 15, and Fort Wayne Metals. All ages are welcome! Admission is $10 per person.

Botanical Roots Music Fest
Friday, August 4, 5:00 – 11:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 5, 12 – 11 p.m.
Be refreshed at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory with a two-day eclectic musical festival. ROOTS Music Fest features music from a wide diversity of regional heritages and cultural backgrounds, combining exciting local musicians and regional touring acts. Friday features Zydeco and Reggae sounds with CJ Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band, Lazo & Exodus with URB and Pete Dio and the Old & Dirty. Saturday features Blues, Americana and Folk styles with Mississippi Heat, Debutants, Grace Theisen & the Rebel Eves with G-Money Band, Rosalind & the Way, Phil’s Family Lizard and A Picker & A Grinner. Tickets are available online at www.bit.ly/rootsfest for Friday ($15), for Saturday ($20) or as a two-day pass ($30). Conservatory members are admitted free. Forage some more to discover dynamic graffiti art and container gardens accompanying uptown views from your local stoop. Father’s Day in the Garden
Saturday and Sunday, June 17 and 18, public hours
Treat Dad and Granddad to a special outing at the Botanical Conservatory where they get in free on Father’s Day weekend. While the family is entertained by live butterflies and beautiful garden displays, fathers can enjoy the visit with a beverage and snack available for purchase from Mad Anthony Brewing Company and Shigs in Pit (10:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and 12:00-3:30 p.m. on Sunday). Just in time for spring planting, the Botanical Conservatory offers over 700 varieties of plants at the annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale. Shop masses of locally grown herbs, vegetable starts, flowering perennials and native plants joining a host of annuals, mixed containers, hanging baskets, houseplants, bonsai and a variety of seeds. Essentials like potting soil and compost worms are also available. A team of knowledgeable plant advisors are even ready to answer questions and offer suggestions! This annual fundraiser supports Fort Wayne’s very own Botanical Conservatory. Sponsored by: Majic 95.1 WAJI and Fox55.
