“The Tiki Bowl” Play Garden
January 9-April 4, Public hours
Find indoor tropical fun and games this winter in our family-friendly Showcase with our version of the ancient Hawaiian bowling game, ‘Ulu Maika.’ Rather than using a club or putter, players control their ball by rolling, then kicking, it towards each goal. A half-dozen greens offer challenges for players to navigate and a chance to chart the Great Polynesian Migration from Taiwan to Hawaii over thousands of years. Surrounded by lush foliage and bright colors, you’ll enjoy the fragrance of the living garden while you wait for your turn to play. Sponsored by PNC Trust and Majic 95.1 WAJI.
We loved the Hawaii/Island theme! Was so nice to have something interactive for my son to do while also being safe during Covid times. We love visiting, especially in the winter so we can dream of warm places! Thank you for the coloring pages! We made the Tiki mask! Keep up the great work!! Ashley H.
