This photographic series was created by Claire Hegge having spent over three weeks studying in Southeast Asia where she collected various inspiring images of the daily lives and faces of the people with whom she interacted. Her work reflects both traditional and environmental portraits. In particular, this series documents a visual journey of her travels through Siem Reap, Cambodia and Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Bangkok, Thailand. Claire is a junior at Herron School of Art/ IUPUI where she is majoring in photography as a graphic arts student. Her ultimate goal with this series is to offer a glimpse into some of the worthwhile experiences she had while studying as a summer semester student in Southeast Asia. By sharing her unique experience, she hopes to inspire others of all ages to travel and experience this amazing world full of beautiful people.
