Did you know the first recorded handwritten letter was from the Persian Queen Atossa around 500 BC? That the stamped letter we know today came into being during the reign of Queen Victoria in 1840? Join us at the Conservatory to learn more about the history of sending things and take a minute to decorate a card for a friend in honor of National Send a Card to a Friend Day. You bring the address and we will provide the stamp!
